Chicken Tikka
Chicken Tikka is a popular Indian dish consisting of marinated chunks of chicken that are grilled or baked until tender. Place oil into the blender , add items 3 - 14 and blend to a medium fine
Mix, then add yogurt and stir well.
Pour mix over the chicken cubes turn them well and place them into a bowl , cover and allow to marinate overnight.
Preparation :
Remove chicken from bowl and allow to drip dry.
Place cubes onto a skewer ( soaked ) and season with salt.
Roast in the oven ( or salamander ) at very high heat shortly while
basting with some of the marinade.
Sauce : heat remaining Marinade, add cream and thicken with Starch.
Remove skewers , present Chicken on Sauce and decorate.
Ingredients
1.5 kg Chicken breast ( or leg ) boneless - cut to cubes
1 dl Corn Oil
120 grams Onions , chopped sauteed
3 cloves Garlic sliced
1 tbsp Ginger , fresh chopped
20 gr Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Chilli powder
10 Mint leaves
10 Curry leaves
1B Dhania
1 Lemon Juice and some zest
300g Yogurt , plain
Salt - for final preparation
Little Cream
Little Corn starch
Lemon wedges, Dhania, Tomato for decoration
