Hash Brown Potatoes

Hash brown potatoes are a popular breakfast dish made from shredded or finely chopped potatoes that are pan-fried or griddled until golden brown and crispy. They are often seasoned with salt and sometimes other spices or onions for added flavor. Hash browns are commonly served as a side dish with eggs, bacon, or other breakfast items.

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grate the potatoes - rewash shortly and drain well

  2. Panfry the bacon in little of the oil until light crispy and remove the oil behind

  3. Season the potatoes ( mix well ) and panfry in a layer of 2 cm leaving on both sides until crispy

  4. Turn onto Serving dish , sprinkle with bacon and the parsley

  • 600 g Potatoes, peeled

  • 30 g Butter or oil

  • 80 g Bacon, julienned

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • 1/2 bunch Parsley, chopped
