Sticky sesame pork ribs

Sticky sesame pork ribs are a flavorful dish featuring tender pork ribs coated in a sweet and savory glaze made with ingredients like soy sauce, honey, garlic, and sesame oil. The ribs are cooked until caramelized and sticky, then topped with toasted sesame seeds for added texture and flavor. This dish is perfect as a crowd-pleasing appetizer or main course.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all of the marinade ingredients. Add the pork ribs and mix until coated in the marinade a. 4 tbsp of sesame oil b. 8 tbsp of soy sauce

    c. 4 tbsp of honey

    d. 2 tbsp of golden syrup

    e. 3 tbsp of peanut butter

    f. 1 orange for juice

    g. 2 garlic cloves, crushed

    h. 2 tbsp of sweet chilli sauce

    i. 2 2/3 oz of fresh ginger, peeled and finely grated j. 1 tsp five-spice powder k. 12 pork ribs

  1. Cover the ribs and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours, or preferably overnight

  2. Preheat the oven to 190°C/gas mark 5. Add vegetable oil to a large roasting tray and heat for 5 minutes. Remove the hot tray from the oven and add the ribs a. 2 tbsp of vegetable oil


  1. Place back in the oven for 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Cover in sesame seeds then bake for a further 3-4 minutes until golden a. 2 tbsp of sesame seeds

  2. Remove from the oven, allow to rest for 5 minutes then serve immediately
