Turmeric Potato Diamonds

Turmeric potato diamonds are a flavorful dish made by cutting potatoes into diamond-shaped pieces and seasoning them with turmeric, along with other spices like cumin, chili, or garlic. Instructions

  1. Heat the Butter and glaze the onions

  2. Add the Potatoes heat shortly and then add the Turmeric

  3. Then cover with stock just to level

  4. Bring all to boiling point add little salt and then simmer until just done.

  5. At this stage the cooking liquid should have been reduced well

  • 120 g White onions, finely chopped

  • 800 g Potatoes, cut into diamond shapes

  • Vegetable stock

  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric powder

  • Salt
